Students Gear Up for Upcoming TOPIK Exam on October 13

Students in Cebu are making their final preparations for the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), scheduled for October 13, 2024. The intensive review program is being offered by HANA Education Institute, which has been conducting face-to-face classes specifically designed for TOPIK takers.

The students arrived on June 5 and have spent the last five months immersed in rigorous preparation for the exam. The curriculum at HANA Education Institute covered a comprehensive range of Korean language skills, starting from TOPIK Level 1 for beginners and advancing up to Level 4 of TOPIK II. The program aimed to equip students with foundational to advanced knowledge of the Korean language, focusing on areas such as reading comprehension, vocabulary building, and conversational skills.

Over the course of the five-month program, students engaged in a structured learning process that included regular classes, quizzes, recitations, mock exams, and self-study sessions. Despite the challenges of mastering a new language and navigating Korean culture, the students have shown resilience and determination.

The goal for many is to use their newfound language skills to pursue higher education in Korea, with hopes of creating a brighter future through these opportunities.

As the TOPIK exam approaches, the students and educators remain committed to their motto: "With never-ending effort, let’s take one step closer to achieving our great dreams."
